A five-year strategy aimed at transforming the support given to families and those with autism has been launched in Norfolk.

The plan sets out priorities to be achieved during the timescale and has been launched by the Norfolk All-age Autism Partnership Board – a collaboration of people with autism, parents and carers and a number of voluntary and statutory organisations.

As part of the launch of My Autism, Our Lives, Our Norfolk, families have been urged to complete a questionnaire about how their care and support has been affected during the pandemic and what sort of help is needed as lockdown is eased.

The board also wants to know more about the impact the pandemic had on people’s mental health, anxiety and behaviour.
