Approval has been granted for 30 new homes at Docking.
West Norfolk’s planning committee on Monday backed a recommendation by officers and gave the thumbs up to an outline application by Limagrain UK at its Station Road site.
Approval was granted, subject to conditions including a contribution towards open space and provision of affordable homes.
If acceptable contracts relating to affordable housing have not been completed by October, the application will be rejected.
The proposal, for two, three and four-bed properties, sparked concern from the parish council.
It had objected amid concerns about access to the site being opposite the village shop and fear of over-development.
