A West Norfolk business woman has spoken about the pressures of being a leader in the workplace and problems created by the pandemic.
Janie Thompson, director of Thornham Deli Ltd, was a guest during a podcast by The Leaders Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The interview also included former international cricketer Sir Andrew Strauss and was hosted by Matthew O’Neill, who asked both guests how they coped with being a leader.
Ms Thompson, who employs 35 to 40 people, also talked about some of the problems her popular business faced due to the lockdown, particularly in the early stages when government advice was constantly changing, businesses had to close overnight and some staff were furloughed.
