A 53 year-old South Lynn man has been charged in connection with alleged drug supply offences after police seized heroin believed to be worth around £30,000.

The man was arrested last Thursday when officers from Operation Moonshot West, along with the King’s Lynn Local and Neighbourhood Policing Teams, were carrying out an action day in the town.

They stopped a car and found a small quantity of heroin and cash.

As a result of further enquiries, officers searched an address in Gedney, Lincolnshire, and seized a large quantity of heroin, a large quantity of cash and mobile phones.

The man was charged with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.

He appeared before magistrates on Friday and has been remanded into custody and is due to appear in court at Norwich next month.
