Staff at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn are the first in the country to use a messaging app to help fight coronavirus.

The Call-4-Help app is designed get protective equipment and clinical advice to staff where it is most needed, anywhere in the hospital.

The new bespoke app was developed within weeks in response to pressure on staff and resources created by COVID-19, which has claimed the lives of 130 QEH patients.

To date, 255 patients diagnosed with the virus have been discharged.
