A new development of up to 26 homes is planned in Pott Row.

Outline planning permission is being sought for the two-storey houses and flats on 3.2 acres of open farmland in Vong Lane, to the east of Church Close.

The applicant, Roger Coe, is proposing a mixture of detached and terrace homes with a “traditional appearance”, ranging in size from one-bedroom flats to four-bedroom houses.

If the build goes ahead, access to the development would be via an existing entrance in Vong Lane used by farm traffic.

Indicative drawings within the proposals show gardens, green spaces and a single road running through the development, but the final, detailed designs would come later in the planning process.

The plans, submitted to West Norfolk Council last week, also include five affordable properties and 49 parking spaces.
