King’s Lynn Players take to the stage next week with their latest production, The Railway Children.

Performances will be at The Guildhall in Lynn from Thursday, March 19 to Saturday, March 21.

Publicity officer Tom Clarke said: “Rehearsals are going really well and ticket sales have been really strong for this nostalgic tale. Audiences love a show they know and that reminds them of childhood. This one ticks all the boxes.”

The story of Bobbie, Peter and Phyllis is brought to life through the words of station master Mr Perks.

Their world is turned upside down when their father is imprisoned for selling state secrets. They move to Three Chimneys Cottage in the country and the nearby railway becomes a focal point for a series of adventures.

Tickets cost £10 for adults, £8 concessions and £32 for a family. Call 01553 764864 or book online at

The production is by arrangement with Samuel French Ltd.
