A West Norfolk musician studying music at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire is to give a concert with his string quartet at All Saints Church, King’s Lynn, on Saturday, March 21 at 7pm.
Alastair Legg has been playing the violin since the age of nine and was the youngest member of Norfolk Symphony Orchestra when he was 12.
He also played with Norfolk County Youth Orchestra until he received a scholarship place at the Purcell School for Young Musicians.
He now holds a scholarship place at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire where all four members of the Dunev Quartet are studying.
They are taking their recital tour, including music by Beethoven and Webern, to their four home towns so are also playing at Birmingham, St Anne’s, Lancashire, and London.
