EACH representative Tina Burdett receives a cheque from joint presidents Chris Sykes, left, and John Thorpe.

Trinity Rotarians were “delighted” to give their continued support to one of the area’s charities.

Members of the King’s Lynn club presented a cheque for £500 to Tina Burdett, regional fundraiser for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).

Ms Burdett gave members an update on the charity and spoke about the new hospice, The Nook, near Norwich, opened last year by the Duchess of Cambridge.

A spokesman for Trinity said the opening followed a successful fundraising appeal but the charity still needed help both financially and from volunteers.

John Thorpe, joint club president, said: “The club has given support in the past and is delighted to do so now and the need for the charity’s help will always be there.”

If anyone is interested in joining the club or finding out more they are welcome to attend meetings or events.
