A West Norfolk couple are celebrating 25 years of business success with a special party for all the customers they’ve kept since they first opened in 1995.
Keith and Tamsin Brown have seen their business, K. Brown Auto Repairs, grow from a small operation run out of an old army barracks building in Heacham to a company boasting two modern facilities and 24 employees.
The couple, now with garages in King’s Lynn and Hunstanton, will be toasting their success along with staff and customers who have been with them since they first opened.
Mrs Brown said: “We’ve still got quite a few people who have been with us since our first year.
“We’ve still got customer number one using us and I’ve still got the first invoice. All his family now use us as well and we are quite proud of that.”
Mrs Brown manages the business-side of the company, such as administration, health and safety, finances and advertising, while her husband is in charge of the mechanical side of both garages.
Mrs Brown said the couple were proud of their achievement, adding: “I don’t think you could describe how much work you put into a business. Being husband and wife you spend most of your time discussing it and it becomes your life.”
New signs marking the anniversary are at both garages.
