A new hair-raising photographic exhibition is set to open at True’s Yard Fisherfolk Museum in King’s Lynn.

Called Fabulous Facial Hair and Where to Find It, the display at the North Street venue, opens on Friday, February 7 and will run until Saturday, April 25.

True’s Yard has been working in partnership with staff at Captain Fawcett’s Marvellous Barbershop Museum who have inspired them to take a closer look at the fabulous facial hair in photographs at the museum’s collection.

A spokesman said: “It turns out that fishermen have some very impressive beards.

“This photographic exhibition is testament to that and there are a host of chin curtains, mutton chops and moustaches.”
