The cast is taking to the stage with the panto Freezing in Heacham which opened yesterday and continues today (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday) at Heacham Public Hall in Station Road, Heacham.

Performances will be at 7.30pm on both days and there will be a  2pm matinee on Saturday.

The panto tells the tale of Lord Frostbite and his minions Pins and Needles who, along with the unwitting help of two local chilli sellers, Brain and Freeze, turn Heacham  into a frozen landscape.

However, there is also the Widow Whippy and her two daughters Anna and Alaska, who provide ice cream to Emperor Ben and Empress Jerry.

They  reside at the manor along with their son, Prince Jon Snow White, who needs the help of McFlurry and Jeannie Genie to try and save the day.

Audiences have been invited to go along and help McFlurry prevent his assets from becoming frozen and help Prince Jon Snow White find his true love.
