A new Hobbycraft store is to open in King’s Lynn, it was confirmed this week.

The arts and crafts retailer, which has nearly 100 branches nationwide, is  expected to open on the Hardwick Retail Park in the spring and is advertising for staff.

A Hobbycraft spokesman said: We’re looking forward to welcoming craft beginners and enthusiasts alike into our new store.”

λ The future of Bon Marche in Lynn High Street is unclear after closing down signs  appeared in its windows.

It was announced in November that 100 stores would be shutting, but the Lynn branch has not been confirmed as closing.

The clothing retailer, which shut its Dereham branch this week, went into administration in October.
