Bang On! with Keith Organ
Stock car and banger racing round-up

OVAL RACING: No doubt by the end of next week you will be bored of Christmas leftovers and Christmas TV.

So, get out of the house this festive season with a Christmas Cracker of a meeting at the Adrian Flux Arena in Saddlebow Road in King’s Lynn on Sunday, December 29, 1pm.

More than 100 micro bangers plus a good number of BriSCA F2 and two-litre saloon stock cars are expected to deliver some perfect Sunday racing this Christmas.

The micro bangers will be racing in a teams competition, each team consisting of three drivers. Team meetings are always a good watch and full of action as team mates help one another to destroy the opposition.

The F2 stocks have their white and yellow graders finale and it is expected to be a hard-fought competition, while the saloon stock cars have their track championship up for grabs – a double points finale; so the bumpers will be going in thick and fast!

All the Lynn-based drivers are expected to be in action across the three classes.

In the bangers – led by Lynn team captain Darren Fendley, Team Bash will be looking to continue the form that brought success in 2017, winning the competition, before finishing second last year.

There will be many out to stop them though.

In the F2 stock cars, Rob and Scott Aldridge will be leading the charge in the white and yellow grade finale and will both will be up there challenging for top honours.

The arena boasts great viewing all around (plenty of under cover viewing too), free on site and overflow parking, disabled viewing, licensed bars, ample food outlets and other great facilities.

Children aged 11 and under go free and family tickets are available for the action-packed entertainment.

Visit the www.stockcar-racing.co.uk website for race day updates and information.
