Downham Market residents got into the festive spirit at the town’s Christmas lights switch-on.
Santa arrived on his sleigh to welcome guests to the event on Sunday and children visited him in his grotto for an early Christmas gift.
There was live music to entertain the crowds with local musicians playing festive tunes at the Clock Square and more musical entertainment at the town hall car park.
There were also games and stalls manned by local charities raising funds for their causes.
Pupils from Nelson Academy and Hillcrest Primary School also performed on stage and the Christmas lights were switched on by Halloween fancy dress competition winners Scarlet Cuthbert and Adrian Farao, along with town Mayor Becky Hayes.
Seasonal food, mulled wine, chocolate and mince pies were available and Churches Together provided a special stable for children to visit.
