A Land Rover run has raised more than £4,000 for The Fire Fighters Charity.

Two hundred Land Rovers of all designs and ages set off in convoy for the third annual event on Sunday.

The route began at Pensthorpe Natural Park, near Fakenham, and finished at Holkham Hall.

Organiser Lynn Twite, business support team administrator for Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service, said it had been a great day.

“We have had people taking part come from far and wide out of the county, I guess that’s the power of Facebook.

“It was such a great group of people who love their Land Rovers and really nice for families and their dogs.

“It will is now a firm event in the calender.”

Fellow organiser Grant Cotterell, station manager at Great Yarmouth, added: “We enjoyed a warm welcome everywhere we went and I have been told by participants that it was the best one so far.”
