OVAL RACING: The Adrian Flux Arena’s BriSCA season ended in a big way on Saturday with a meeting many claimed to be the best of the year.

There was hard-hitting action and rollovers galore; proper stock car action all the way.

In the BriSCA F1s, Heacham’s Willie Skoyles Junior’s night didn’t go as planned, following his great outing at the World Final night in September, the T M Browne-sponsored preliminary lower grade race that started the night, saw Skoyles finish a creditable seventh.

However, on a night of lots of incidents, Skoyles was unable to avoid one and that was his only result of the evening.

In the two-litre stock cars, Austen Freestone had to cancel so it was just Skoyles flying the flag for the locals.

Next up at the Adrian Flux Arena is the last Saturday night event of the year – tomorrow’s annual Halloween Carnival Spooktacular, which is always an excellent night.

More than 115 bangers are entered, including a number of hearses, along with full grids of stock cars and Reliant Robins.

That is all coupled with a children’s fancy dress parade and a huge fireworks display – it will be a great night for all the family and it all starts at 5pm.

Expect most of the best banger racers to be in attendance, including King’s Lynn-based, 2018 Entertainer of the year Kieran Bowman and u25 champion Callum Gill, who defends that title tomorrow.

Full event details can be found on the www.stockcar-racing.co.uk website.

Check before travelling for race day updates.

There will be free funfair rides and face painting. Family tickets are available and kids up to the age of 11 go free.
