The date when H&M in King’s Lynn is to open its doors has been confirmed.

Shoppers can enter the two-storey flagship store in Broad Street at 11am on Thursday, November 7.

The first 200 customers will receive a goodie bag and those who join the queue before 11am will receive a 25 per cent discount wristband to redeem against their entire purchase that day.

There will also be entertainment from an in-store DJ.

Toni Galli, H&M’s country manager for the UK, said: “We are very excited to open this brand new store in the Vancouver Quarter in King’s Lynn this November.

“We aim to provide our customers in Norfolk with the best shopping experience possible and we are confident that our new King’s Lynn store will offer exactly this.”

It is thought the store has created around 45 jobs for the town and will prove a major draw for shoppers.

Vancouver centre manager Alistair Cox said: “This is a positive step for our high street and having an iconic brand like H&M showing a commitment to our town speaks volumes for the future prospects for our town.”
