Cakes and cuppas will be enjoyed across West Norfolk today as schools, community groups and businesses get behind the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for Macmillan Cancer Care.

A number of fundraisers are planned and it’s not too late to pop along and get involved.

Friday (today): 

Downham Market: 

λ St Edmund’s Church, 10.15am to noon, refreshments and a raffle

Gaywood:

λ Co-operative Funeralcare, Wootton Road, 10am to 2pm

King’s Lynn:

λ The Hub at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, 9.30am to 12.30pm

λ Marks and Spencer, High Street, coffee morning weekend begins, Wizard of Oz theme

Pentney:

λ Energise Pentney Fitness & Spa, 7am to 11.30am, coffee and cakes, prize draw, £2 entry

Docking:

λ Ripper Hall, coffee morning 9am to noon

North Creake:

λ Church Street, 10.30am to noon

West Dereham:

λ village hall, all cakes and donations welcome. Cakes and tea/coffee available, 10am

West Winch:

λ William Burt Social Club, all day from 8.30am. Coffee, cake, activities, hog roast and charity football match.

Southery:

λ Southery Village Hall, 10am to noon. Refreshments, stalls, games, raffles, competitions and a grand draw, plus a bingo at 7.30pm

Saturday (tomorrow): 

Hunstanton: 

λ Manor Park, 10.30am to 2pm. Raffle and Christmas presents stalls
