Country music legend Charlie Landsborough, who is ending his touring days next month, will be on stage at Lynn Corn Exchange.

Popular country singer Charlie Landsborough returns to King’s Lynn next month towards the end of his retirement tour.

Charlie intends to concentrate on writing and recording his music and his touring days will end on October 27.

But two days before, on Friday, October 25, he will be on stage at the Corn Exchange.

The veteran performer has said to his fans: “I will certainly miss you all but will never forget your great kindness and support and will always treasure the wonderful memories I have of the lovely times I have had with you.”

  Known for his successes with songs My Forever Friend, Colour of the Wind and I Will Love You All My Life, Charlie’s shows encompass all genres of music from ballads to folk, blues, rock ‘n’ roll, pop and gospel.

 The singer has enjoyed a long history in the music industry since the 1970s. His success in 1994 saw My Forever Friend awarded Best Songwriter, Best Song, Best Male Vocalist and International Country Album.  

He also received ultimate recognition being inducted into the British Country Music Hall of Fame in 2011.

Ahead of his tour, Charlie released his album The Attic Collection comprising some of his musical memorabilia.

He said: “It’s always nice to reflect on what’s gone before and to remember various episodes of our lives and I have fond memories associated with each track on this collection.”

The Lynn performance will be at 7.30pm and tickets cost £24.
