Bubbletastic skills are set for Lynn’s Tuesday Market Place.

King’s Lynn town centre is set to be turned into something magical with a new free family event.

Costumed characters, giant games, stories, performances, magic and daredevil stunts will be performed at the Tuesday Market Place from 10am to 3pm on Sunday as part of the new TM Play event, organised by West Norfolk Council.

In a celebration of tales, magic and play, princesses will be playing games such as pass the treasure chest and superheroes will be on hand to help, alongside Transformers.

Children and adults can sign-up now to take part in free workshops including a Greatest Showman dance session.

There will be entertainment from the Pirate Captain’s Magic Show and the Dick Danger Show will include a trick which involves diving from a high pole into a bucket of water.

Bubbleology will have plenty of bubble skills on display and Tilly the Talespinner will weave a web of story magic.

Also, throughout the day, children will be able to take on a tower climbing challenge.

Graham Middleton, West Norfolk Council’s cabinet portfolio holder for business development including events, said: “This is another exciting free event from the borough council and a great reason to visit the town centre on Sunday.

“There will be lots for children and adults to enjoy on the Tuesday Market Place.”

Find out more by searching TM Play on Facebook for details and to sign-up to the workshops, which are limited and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
