King’s Lynn is set to celebrate 60 years of the iconic Mini.

More than 200 of the modern and classic vehicles are due to dazzle at the Tuesday Market Place between 10am and 3pm on Sunday.

Organised by West Norfolk Council, the annual free Mini Meet event also has plenty of entertainment on the bill.

The Fried Pirates and The Tildens bands are to perform during the day, as well as DJ Mark Purdy.

Council leader Brian Long said: “This year’s Mini Meet in the market place is going to be another fun family event, perfect for all Mini enthusiasts.”

Mr Long will be presenting trophies to the Mini owners which have been awarded Judges’ Choice and also the People’s Favourite.

All exhibitors at the event will have the chance to vote and decide the winner of the People’s Favourite.
