The Samphire Quilters 2019 festival exhibition will open at St Nicholas Chapel, King’s Lynn today (Friday).

Beautiful creations made by group members will be on show, including quilts, cushions and other items made in workshops.

The exhibition will be on from 10.30am to 4pm today, tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday and there will also be sales tables, traders, refreshments and a tombola stall in aid of the Stroke Association’s Talk and Stroke group.

Brochures for the festival cost £2.

There will also be a sale of items made by a group member who died of cancer last year, to raise money for The Norfolk Hospice Tapping House. A similar sale last year raised £6,000.

The group meets every other Monday at Providence Street Community Centre from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
