A King’s Lynn shopper won £10,000 in a national  competition when she bought a new car.

Pauline Walker bought a Nissan Micra from EMG King’s Lynn in June and was entered into the company’s £10,000 Summer Sale giveaway.

The draw took place at EMG Mitsubishi in Ipswich and Ipswich Town academy coach Titus Bramble picked out the winning entry.

Mrs Walker said: “I was delighted and also very surprised as you can imagine when I received the phone call to tell me I had won £10,000.

“I have never won anything like this before. I would like to thank EMG Motorgroup in King’s Lynn.”

Mr Bramble is part of a charity called Futurestars which collects unwanted football kits and boots and delivers sports programmes to children in Ghana.

Mrs Walker said she would  be donating some of her winnings to the charity.
