Families got into the groove with three dance workshops held as part of the Festival Too Fringe in King’s Lynn.

There was a Greatest Showman-themed session, a Bollywood session and a scrap junk dance workshop to choose from at St Nicholas Chapel last Saturday.

Youngsters aged three to 11 could take part in different workshops and adults were encouraged to get on their feet as well.

The free workshops, held between 10am and 2pm, were led by a dance instructor who taught the families a routine, with the chance to add in some of their own freestyle dance moves.

Fringe Festival events so far have included poetry sessions and a family walk with King’s Lynn Town Guides.

Abbie Panks, Festival Too vice-chairman, said: “It was great to see so may families getting involved in the dance sessions – it was the first time we have programmed any activities like this as part of the Festival Too Fringe but following feedback from families it is definitely something we will look to do again.”
