Norfolk Police has unveiled a new app to help reach people in insolated locations more quickly.
The app – what3words – is available for iPhone and Android users to download free and use without subscription charges.
The aim is to provide people with a precise way to share their location.
Norfolk’s Chief Constable Simon Bailey said: “We know it can be difficult for people living and working in the more isolated parts of Norfolk to give us their exact location, and this technology could be groundbreaking in helping us to continue to better serve and support our communities.”
