Around 50 motorbikes took to the roads in a bid to raise funds for The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House.

The event was organised by a group of motorcyclists who regularly meet at Ingoldisthorpe Social Club.

Organiser Josie Saunders said the event was a great success, which saw £1,004 raised for the Hillington-based hospice.

She said: “They left Ingoldisthorpe Social Club at around 10am and completed a 100-mile circular ride avoiding the coast.

“They had a break and were back by 1pm and then there was a hog roast and a raffle.”

Mrs Saunders expressed her thanks to her fellow organisers and those who supported the event and provided raffle prizes, as well as the social club.
