SPEED SKATING: There was a full set of medals for members of West Norfolk’s inline speed skating club in the final of three back-to-back races in London.

Eleven members of Walpole Highway-based Wisbech ISS team took to the smooth, banked Tatem Park and returned in glory with everyone of them rewarded.

Kirby Barker, the youngest member in the competition, pipped the third-placed skater on the line in the 1500m race to finish third overall.

His brother, Taylor, put on an amazing display in Cat 3, winning all three of his races.

Arthur Buckler was moved to Cat 2 and battled against far bigger skaters but took an epic win in the 3,000m and finished third overall. He also won the 2,000m pupil boys race with Taylor second. James Eve, also in Cat 2, was second overall.

Flynn McGurk and Warren Eve battled at the front of the Cat 1 pack with Mike McInerney during the 3k race but finished just off the podium. McGurk and Lucy McInerney finished the 5,000m races first in of their age categories with Eve a close second junior boy.

Mike McInerney was second in the 5,000m points race and overall third in Cat 1.

Luke Frary and Karl Bates were second and third in the masters event, with Frary third in the 5,000m.

Jo Tidman made a clean sweep in her races to finish top of the podium.
