The Blue Iris, a new restaurant in Gaywood, has been officially opened.
West Norfolk Mayor Nick Daubney cut a ribbon during a celebratory opening ceremony where dignitaries tucked into food prepared by chef Robert Krolikowski.
Directors Mariusz and Dagmara Wieclaw have set up the new business and will also be supported by manager Daniel Peczkowski.
Mr Wieclaw said he is keen to offer a wide variety of styles on the menu, as well as themed events such as Italian or Mexican weeks.
He added: “We want to do different food all the time because our chef has all the knowledge. He has been working as a chef for 20 years.”
All food is prepared fresh including pasta and bread. The business plans to offer services such as corporate catering and funeral wake catering.
