A King’s Lynn hair and beauty salon has been crowned Outstanding Salon of the Year at an awards ceremony.
No 4, in the High Street, was recognised at The English Hair and Beauty Awards in Birmingham this month.
The win came after more than 40,000 clients in the country voted for their favourite salons.
Salon owner Becky Pochetty, 28, said: “We’re really pleased to have won, the ceremony was amazing and we celebrated afterwards.”
Miss Pochetty, a beautician, opened the salon in August 2015 with five staff members.
She said: “I was working in another salon and I qualified in HD brows which was really popular and I struggled to keep up. So on a bit of a whim, I decided to open my own salon.
“I found a place and decided to go for it. And 28 days later, No. 4 was open.”
The salon has gone from strength-to-strength and now employs 18 staff.
Miss Pochetty paid tribute to her team. She said: “They all work well and support each other.”
