Cheryl Brown on her way to a 10K personal best time on her 50th birthday.

ATHLETICS: The ever-growing King’s Lynn-based Renegade Runners enjoyed a day of good results at Snetterton race track.

In the 5K in sub zero temperatures, Matt Pyatt outran the rest of the 286 racers to finish first in 16.30.

Elisabeth Sennitt Clough won the W40 age group and was 32nd overall in a personal best time of 20.41.

In the 10K, Tim Clough was the first Renegade man home, 83rd in 43.27. Martyn Benstead was 101st (43.48), closely followed in 102nd by Jonny Cockerill (43.59).

Steve Eke ran a PB 44.58 to finish 128th, while Andy Doyle ran his second fastest 10k in 46.02 for 151st place.

Other PBs were set by Linus Marray-Woods (51.11) and Cheryl Brown, who celebrated her 50th birthday by being the first Renegade woman home in a PB 52.02. 

Kerrie Page smashed her PB with 56.18, while Sarah Kimberley was back running well in 56.46.

On his way back from illness, Ash Brown clocked 60.37 and Charlie Pyatt beat his PB by four seconds with a time of 75.55.
