Organisers of King’s Lynn’s Festival Too are looking for stewards to help at this summer’s event.

The festival, which attracts crowds of thousands to the Tuesday Market Place over three weekends, is one of Europe’s largest non-ticketed free festivals.

The committee has appealed for volunteer stewards to come forward explaining they helped maintain the safety of the crowd and played a “crucial part in the event”.

“If you are community-minded, level-headed and would love to be part of this year’s Festival Too, we would like to hear from you,”  the organisers have said.

Help is needed during the weekends of Saturday and Sunday, June 29 and 30, and Fridays and Saturdays of July 5 and 6 and 12 and 13.

Last year’s headline acts included platinum-selling rockers The Darkness and singer/songwriter Pixie Lott.

There were also performances from soul legend Geno Washington and The Edwin Starr Band.

The festival also included local bands and school choirs.

Anyone able to help is asked to call Nathan Hollands on 07986 330257 or Mike Healey on 07960 014704 for more information.
