We had a great reaction to the old photos of King’s Lynn we published last week, with Your Local Paper readers getting in touch with the pictures’ owner to tell her their stories.
The photographs, taken in 1953 by Vera Hart (née Boyd), showed scenes from a stables and the docks.
Mrs Hart’s daughter, Pauline Baker, wanted to get in touch with the people in the photographs or their relations.
“I am amazed,” she said. “I’ve had phone calls with different people all telling me their stories, and providing me with lots of facts. It’s been so interesting.”
This week we have a further set of photos, showing parades and scenes from a cattle market.
