CYCLING: King’s Lynn Cycling Club juniors continued their winning streak in the penultimate round of the Eastern Region Muddy Monsters League.

The races were held at Springwood High School with riders travelling from as far afield as Ely, Cambridge, St Ives and Peterborough to race on a fast course, designed to test the stamina of the riders.

Lynn put out a strong team and earned a clean sweep, winning every race in all the age categories.

Thanks were expressed to all the volunteers for making it a great event.

Parents of any young cyclist wishing to take part in these events can contact the club via their web page

The club’s third cycle sportive will be held on June 9, starting from Great Massingham village hall.

There will be a choice of four routes, from eight miles (for families) up to 100 miles.

It will attract hundreds of cyclists from across East Anglia of all abilities and ages. Funds raised will go to the local Mind charity. Full details are on the website.
