Can you help find the people in these old black and white photographs, taken in King’s Lynn more than 65 years ago?
Vera Hart (née Boyd) took the pictures in 1953 and they are thought to show scenes from a stables in Blackfriars Road, close to the Littleport Street end, and Lynn docks.
Mrs Hart had been evacuated to Lynn during the Second World War and was a keen photographer, taking and developing the photographs herself.
Mrs Hart’s daughter, Pauline Baker, is now trying to get in touch with the people in the photographs or their relations, and would like Your Local Paper readers to help.
It is believed the stables were owned by the Lubbock family and were run by Fred Arnop, who was married to their daughter. It is thought Mr Arnop features in several of the photographs.
