Pantomime characters Megan Shorthouse alias Prince Charming and Cinderella (Philly MacFarlane) with one of the horses from the Magpie Centre.

Members of Watlington Players have teamed-up with the nearby Magpie Centre for next week’s panto.

The cast is set to take to the stage at Watlington Village Hall with the festive offering of Cinderella from Thursday, January 3, to Saturday, January 5.

As several members are volunteers at the Runcton Holme centre, the home of West Norfolk Riding for the Disabled, the players decided this year to ask audiences to show their support for the charity at performances.

The centre at Wallington Hall, provides therapy and enjoyment through riding activities for those with disabilities.

Panto audiences will be treated to a traditional festive show with Cinderella hoping to go to the ball.

But she has her dreams thwarted by her evil step-mother and ugly step-sisters.

However, the Fairy Godmother is on hand to make sure Cinderella achieves her dream.

Performances will be at 7.30pm. There will also be a matinee performance at 2.30pm on the Saturday.
