Colleagues at West Norfolk accountancy firm Mapus-Smith & Lemmon have raised money for charity during the company’s centenary year.
By taking part in a variety of events, staff have covered 2,018 miles to raise money for West Norfolk Mind, Alzheimer’s Society and Pancreatic Cancer UK.
Events undertaken have included several staff members taking part in the King’s Lynn GEAR race, a challenge in June where participants covered 100 miles wheel-free over the 30 days of June and, a race between offices where staff ran from Lynn to the Wisbech office, cycled from Wisbech to Downham Market and finally walked from Downham to Lynn – all within normal working hours.
With 680 miles left to complete during December, staff at the three offices took to an exercise bike to pedal the equivalent distance of London to John O’Groats.
