Ghosts, ghouls and friendly-looking spirits wandered the streets of King’s Lynn on Wednesday for a Halloween-themed family event.

Children dressed-up for the annual activity, organised by the Vancouver Quarter, West Norfolk Council and Discover King’s Lynn.

There was free fun and entertainment for families and  hundreds of people took part in a Halloween Trail.

Special maps had been created which youngsters collected from Halloween headquarters before they headed off around the town centre. They were rewarded with tasty treats inside Halloween goody bags.

“Our Halloween Trail is always a hugely popular event and it’s brilliant that so many businesses join the fun and make the afternoon really special for everyone taking part,” said Abbie Panks, Vancouver Quarter manager.

There was a host of special characters from Captain Hook to Cinderella, Cruella De Vil, Rapunzel and Tinkerbell.

They were joined by the popular ‘big witches’ and   specially-themed live music.
