Getting creative at First World War hands-on workshops held at Stories of Lynn. Pictures: Paul Tibbs

History was brought to life at a series of workshops on Tuesday.

Morning and afternoon First World War interactive events were held at Stories of Lynn.

Youngsters were given an insight into what life was like during the time of conflict.

Stories were recounted about life in the trenches and on the home front during the war.

Children got to handle replica objects, discovered if they would have been fit enough to sign-up for service and learned about local heroes.

The family-orientated workshops were aimed at children aged from eight.

King’s Lynn-based Stories of Lynn, which is inside the town hall, also has a temporary King’s Lynn and the First World War exhibition on display until December 2.
