FOOTBALL: AFC Walpole picked up their first UK Van Solutions NWN League win of the season with a 10-1 triumph over pointless Ingoldisthorpe.

Home scorers in Division One included Callum Fendley with a hat-trick, Tom Scoines, Jake Hopkisson 2 and Kai Ruff.

Dersingham Rovers scorers included Lewis Curson 2, Tim Pepper and Ryan Scott in a 5-2 success over Terrington Tigers, for who Kodie Turvey bagged a brace.

Hunstanton defeated Denver 5-1, for who Ross Lockwood replied, and leaders King’s Lynn Town A hammered Heacham Reserves 9-1.

Snettisham lost to Birchwood 3-1, a match which saw some controversial sendings-off, starting with the Snettisham goalie for a 50/50 challenge. 

The match referee sent off another Snettisham player later in the game. 

Birchwood goalscorers were Aaron Keegan (their Man of the Match) 2 and Brad Wilson; and for Snettisham Mark Lloyd scored his trademark, precise penalty. Snettisham named two players as their Man of the Match due to the efforts of their depleted side: Jason Kerr and George Patience. 

A further Snettisham player was sent off after the game.

In Division Two, The Woottons are top after winning 6-0 at Clenchwarton; Alfie Brindle, Liam Docherty, Callum Nugent and Alex Tweed with a hat-trick. 

Lewis Jeavons and Ryan Younge netted for Ingoldisthorpe Res in a 2-1 edging-out of Docking Rangers, whose scorer was Ewan Paton.

Reffley are second following a 5-1 victory versus Marshland Saints. 

Basement side Gayton Utd A picked up a useful 2-2 draw at Watlington SSC owing to strikes by Sam Hewitt and Wesley Hudson.

Castle Rising marksmen were Jack Rake, Thomas Sharp and Johnathan Woodhouse in a 4-4 draw with Hungate Rovers, for who Ben Garner a brace, Jordan Watson and Jack Whyborn netted.  

Heacham SC drew with 3-3 with FC International Res, while Joel Wille netted for River Lane Rangers but lost to Hunstanton Town 5-1. Town scorers included James Durham, Joshua Rose 2 and Sean Tipper.

Mark Whatley grabbed the winner for leaders West Winch in the only goal at Terrington Tigers Res, while second-spot Woottons Res drew with South Creake 3-3. Creake marksmen were Ryan Hugo, Christopher Laskey 2. 

In Barnes Print C&S Norfolk League Division 1, Kyle Watts and Jason White were on target for Castle Acre Swifts Res but they lost 5-2 at home to Norwich Medics.

Narborough Res lost at Cockers 10-2 in the Ben Smith Memorial Cup. Goals for the visitors came from Rian Emmerson and Jack George, Feltwell United had a walkover against Mundford Exiles.
