West Norfolk Mayor Nick Daubney is due to declare the £1.1m project at Dersingham open at 11am.

The centre will be open for the public to take a look at the new facilities, which includes a large hall and stage, meeting rooms, a central hub space and fully equipped kitchen.

Visitors will be able to find out about future events and activities already booked, including classes.

They will also be able to purchase tickets for forthcoming events such as a charity lunch on Sunday, October 21, tea dance on Friday, October 26, barn dance on Saturday, October 27, and village cinema on Tuesday, October 30.

The open day will also give visitors a chance to find out how they could use the centre for classes, private celebrations, meetings, theatrical events and other activities.
