King’s Lynn’s Purfleet Trust charity, which helps the homeless, will be moving to new premises set to open on Monday.

The charity will leave its current building at St Ann’s Fort today (Friday) and will move to Pathways House – the former Red Cross building at Austin Fields – over the weekend.

The building has been completely refurbished and features a brand new layout. There is a computer suite, training rooms and a health and wellbeing centre.

The charity will be offering a breakfast club every morning, lunches every day and a wide range of activities.

Joy Wylie, the Purfleet Trust’s business and communications manager, said: “We are really excited for this move and we hope to be fully moved and up and running by the end of September.

“The move will enable us to continue our vital work supporting vulnerable homeless people over the coming winter months in our health and wellbeing centre which is the first point of contact for rough sleepers and those feeling at risk of losing their home.”
