Solicitors Ward Gethin Archer will be holding a free open day to celebrate the recent expansion and refurbishment of its Heacham office.

The investment has generated new jobs in the village as well as relocating other existing members of staff, who live locally, from other offices within the company.

The branch, in High Street, now has a greater number of  solicitors and lawyers on-hand to give clients improved access to legal help and advice.

The team covers issues such as moving home, writing a will or lasting power of attorney, personal injury claims, settling a dispute, resolving family matters or employment issues as well as commercial services for businesses.

The open day is being held on Wednesday, September 19, when local residents and businesses can pop in and have an informal chat over a coffee and cake.

Julie Dear, residential conveyancing legal executive and Heacham parish councillor, said: “As a member of the parish council, it’s fantastic the Heacham community now has improved access to the legal help and support they need when they need it right on their doorstep.

“It is something we are really excited about and privileged to be able to provide.”

Ward Gethin Archer’s Heacham office first opened at the beginning of 2014 after the successful acquisition of Berry and Walton Solicitors.
