A planning application has been submitted to West Norfolk Council for new businesses at Freebridge Park, West Lynn, to include Costa Coffee and KFC.
The application, for vacant land adjacent to Premier Inn, McDonald’s, Brewer’s Fayre and the Shell garage, would see a mix of roadside retail, trade counters and employment uses.
Full planning permission is sought for KFC and Costa and outline permission is being sought for the remainder of the site for employment uses.
The development could create 60 jobs. The proposals could also include a pedestrian link to an existing bus stop on Clenchwarton Road.
A statement submitted with the application said there were around 30,000 vehicle movements per day on the nearby Pullover roundabout and the applicant anticipated no significant increase in additional traffic movements.
There are also separate plans for an eye clinic at the site.
Comments on the application must be made to the council by September 20.
