Hard work has reaped big rewards for year eight pupils at King’s Lynn’s Springwood High School.

A total of 250, 12 and 13 year-olds enjoyed Springfest  before the end of the summer term after successfully completing their Endeavour  challenge.

The challenge involves extra curricular activities throughout the year which have seen the students raise thousands of pounds  for charity, undertaking community activities and challenging themselves.

Daniel Hobbs, assistant headteacher and head of year eight, said he was “immensely proud” of the students.

Some of the achievements have included organising and speaking at a school assembly, taking part in a beach litter pick at Hunstanton, fundraising for Nelson’s Journey, a Norfolk children’s bereavement charity, and cake bake sales.

“Endeavour is about valuing others,” said Mr Hobbs, who added: “Springfest is our big celebration of achievement.”

The Springfest fun activities included the Motiv8 inflatable assault course, Zorb balls, bouncy castles, rock climbing, crazy bikes, a penalty shoot-out and a barbecue.
