Visitors to the first annual open day at Norton Hill Light Railway in Snettisham enjoyed rides on miniature steam engines to raise money for local charities.

The event, held at Hall Farm, attracts thousands of people each year over three open weekends hosted by different organisations.

Last weekend the hosts were the Rotary Club of Hunstanton and District.

As well as rides through the grounds on the miniature steam trains there were also stalls, games, refreshments and pony rides.

The next open weekends will be held by King’s Lynn Round Table on August 11 and 12, and King’s Lynn Lions Club on August 25 and 26.
