Police are investigating an incident at Crimplesham last Friday in which a man in his 60s suffered cheek and chest wounds.

Officers were called to a property just before 4pm after receiving reports of a fire. 

They found a man with what has been described as injuries “believed to have been caused by a sharp object”. 

The victim was taken to King’s Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital with wounds to his left cheek and chest.

Officers have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

 A Norfolk police spokesman said no personal details will be  taken, information cannot be traced or recorded and you will not go to court or have to speak to police when contacting Crimestoppers.
