Sandra Morgan and Maarten Klem of King’s Lynn Food Bank receive the proceeds of the quiz night from Lesley and Ian Pinches of the Blackstone Engine Bar.

A quiz night and raffle held at the Blackstone Engine Bar at Denver windmill raised £434 for King’s Lynn  Foodbank.

The event was organised by food bank volunteer Sandra Morgan in conjunction with Freebridge Community Housing. 

Prizes included an overnight stay in a London boutique hotel, a three-course lunch at Congham Hall, an MOT at Shaun Hagen Motor Services and prizes from Sargents Butchers and the Orange Tree hair salon at West Winch.

Mrs Morgan said: “I’d like to say thank you to Freebridge for their support, to Ian and Lesley for hosting the event, to all of our supporters and for all the generous donations of raffle prizes.”
