A ribbon has been cut to officially open a new outdoor show space at a West Norfolk family business.

Sandringham Estates’ new land agent Edward Parsons showed his support for The Iron Garden by officially opening its show space at Shernborne.

Mr Parsons was given a tour of the Fring Road site by Amanda Thompson, co-founder of the business.

“We were very honoured to have Mr Parsons come and cut the ribbon to our outdoor show area.

“When we launched The Iron Garden back in 2017, we knew it would take a while to set up our outdoor show area and we couldn’t have asked for such a wonderful day to celebrate our triumph and for Mr Parsons to celebrate with us,” she said.

Mr Parsons said: “It is lovely to be part of such an exciting occasion and it has been a pleasure to meet the family behind such beautiful products, which are crafted on the estate.”

The outdoors area will showcase a wide range of the company’s products including its Taj Mahal gazebo, which featured at the recent RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London.

The family business includes the Wrought Iron and Brass Bed Company.

Mr Parsons said he wished the family continued success with their exciting new products.
