West Norfolk businesses Bank House and The Rose and Crown in Snettisham have both received commendation from The AA.
The two businesses, owned by Jeannette and Anthony Goodrich, were inspected last week and received praise and awards from the prestigious AA Guide.
Bank House, on the riverside at King’s Staithe Square, King’s Lynn, was awarded the 3 Star Silver Award.
The AA Inspector said: “It has been a pleasure to carry out this routine overnight inspection at Bank House in accordance with AA Quality Standards.
“This has been a positive visit, thanks to a friendly and polite team who instigated plenty of social interactions throughout the guest journey.
“The charming 18th century town house still impresses”.
Mrs Goodrich said: “We are delighted with our AA rating, which is a credit to all our hard working staff and a reflection of their commitment and dedication to the business, and the pride they take in Bank House and the town.
“This is great news, once again underlining King’s Lynn’s attractions as a visitor destination town. “
The Rose and Crown achieved a rating as a Gold 4 Star Inn and retained its AA Rosette.
The inspector paid special tribute to the staff and said: “Thanks to Kim and her naturally friendly and welcoming bunch, who genuinely appear to love what they do.”
The report concluded: “As a result of this year’s overnight inspection, I am delighted to confirm a continued Four Star with Inn Designator and newly achieved Gold Award in acknowledgement of the quality offering.”
The Rose and Crown general manager Kim Tinkler said: “This would have been impossible without our wonderful staff, who we are all incredibly proud of and this award is testament to everyone who works so hard to give our guests the best possible experience when they visit this special area.”
